Gizem Çakır began her academic journey in 2014, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Yeditepe University. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience through internships at various schools and psychological counseling centers.

 

Committed to social causes, she provided psychological and social support to LGBTQ+ individuals and actively engaged in volunteer work with non-governmental organizations. She graduated with honors in 2019.

Continuing her academic development, Gizem commenced a Master's program in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Yıldız Technical University, where she conducted research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Eryılmaz. Her project, titled “The Impact of Humor Styles and Attachment Patterns on Well-Being,” was completed with high honors.

Further enhancing her expertise, she earned the title of Family Counselor through the Family Counseling Certificate Program at Marmara University and completed the theoretical and supervision phases of Masterson Psychotherapy Training.

Gizem has been focusing on psychoanalytic studies and continues her psychotherapy practice, working primarily with adult clients.
